OK, we've settled on tentative dates for a week's cruise to the Bay, followed by a week to Monterey. The plan is to leave SSC on Saturday, October 2 for the Bay. Then, for those a little more adventurous, we'll leave SF Bay the following Saturday, October 9, for Monterey, and plan to return to SF and then SSC the following weekend, depending on the needs of those who want to attend. The tides during this time are fairly benign, with most currents under 1 knot (2 at the absolute most). The overnight stops totally depend on what harbors are open then due to Covid-19. We can be fairly confident commercial harbors will be available, but we'll have to see for yacht clubs. We can probably look forward to seeing Pittsburg or Benicia, South Beach, Angel Island, Half Moon Bay, Monterey and Santa Cruz. Other stops in SF Bay (maybe Alameda Sausalito and others) will depend on desires of the attendees and open harbors. If you would like to come along, gives us your ideas and desires.
